My grandson is fascinated with lizards and reptiles. His aunt just gave him a leopard gecko, so we had to read this book to find out all about it. I learned so much I never knew. For example, the gecko gets its name from the sound it makes "gecko, gecko." I will be listening to hear this in real life now ...so cute! I never knew that geckos stored food in their tails and that if they get scared, they can literally jump out of their skin!! This is a very interesting book with lots of photos.
