I certainly wasn't bored by this book. While listening to the audio format in my car, I had to take the long way home and spent several driveway moments, reluctant to stop the tape. There are several different story lines that in the end come together. Sandra Brown tells a great story and I enjoyed hearing it through the eyes of varied characters. There was romance and suspense throughout as a cold case is reopened, escaped convicts leave behind a trail of death, and love triumphs in the end.

Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors. Unspeakable did not let me down. It was packed full of suspense and romance. Jack Sawyer, a drifter arrives in town when Carl Herbold and his fellow inmate break free from an Arkansas penitentiary and meet up with his equally-as-evil brother, Cecil in his return to Blewer County, TX.
