I thought this would be an interesting mystery for this time of year. The story takes place in Manhattan, just after the 9/11 tragedy. The killer becomes a lunatic after the loss of his daughter in the Twin Towers collapse, and his son, a firefighter, in the rescue efforts lead his wife to kill herself.
