Although it would be great to have wings, horns, or a tail … the boy in this story begins to realize elephant noses or duck feet, among other things, aren’t such good ideas. This story was read to kindergartners for Dr. Seuss’s birthday /” Read Across America” Day. It was fun to see their faces as they imagined all the things they could do with various animal body parts.
