What a wonderful book. Martha Lessen is a young female horsewhisperer of sorts. Who leaves home to become a "broncbuster" she has her own methods though that leave some people wondering just what the heck she is up to. No violence, no bucking, just steady communication with the heart of the horse. She becomes involved within the community of rual eastern Oregon.
