marked it as to-read
While this book is meant for the younger reader, I find the historical value of it intriguing. The pack-horse librarian in Kentucky was part of the W.P.A. funding during The Depression. This book tells shares the lives of a group of exceptional women who worked for $28 a month to feed their families during a very hard time. I look forward to reading this book!
