What Members Thought
The overall idea of the book was very nice and I was really excited to start reading it .... and then it went on and on and on. In my opinion it was unnecessarily stretched and at one point I completely lost interest and large portion of it was read diagonally. All through Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" came to my mind - it had similar post-apocalyptic setting and its length was only 1/5th of this one's, yet it was a hundred times more engaging and it kept me glued to the pages.
