So my rating is pretty obvious, of course I loved it! It's The Mortal Instrument and Cassandra Clare! It's Jace and Clary, Malec, Simon and all the other Shadowhunters and downworlders!

I wanna keep this review spoiler free since most have only just gotten their copy of COLS so don't wanna give too much away. There are gonna be some small things, but nothing major will be revealed.

I don't know how she does it, but Cassandra Clare has a way with wrapping up a novel and still leaving you hungry for the next!

City of Lost Souls was not my favorite of the Mortal Instruments series. However, that does not mean that CoLS was not just as amazingly written as all of Clare's novels. It started off slowed but definitelty picked up halfway through Part II.

Jace is gone, and under the corruption of Sebastion. Suddenly, though they couldn't be in the same room and not try to kill each other before, now they are like best friends and keeping clear of the rest of the Shadowhunters. It is up to Clary to figure out what is going on, and fix it before she looses Jace forever, and before the war on Shadowhunters becomes more deadly.

Absolutely amazing! This book was just as good as the rest of Cassandra Clare's books. It was well worth the wait. Everything about it was perfect. The way the characters changed and the way the storyline grew. It had many unexpected parts but none the less, I thoroughly enjoyed it. From beginning to end. If you've read the first four books of The Mortal Instruments, go out and buy this one! You will not be disappointed.

This book was just as amazing as the others! At first, I was a little dissapointed about Jace not being himself, but the moments he was himself--that was what made the book so good. I couldn't put it down--I finished it in two days. I've noticed, that in this book, all the characters have seemed to have grown--Clary, especially. She's not longer hesitant to kill or afraid to take a punch. I can't wait to read the next one! Fan girl moment: JACE AND CLARY FOREVER!:D ...more

I hated Camille before and after this i hate her even more, if the woman needed to breathe i think i would strangle her! She knew exactly how to play with Alec insecurity regarding is relationship with Magnus.
