Well, that was certainly fantastic. I don't think I liked City of Fallen Angels nearly as much as I liked this one. In fact, I was a bit nervous about the second TMI cycle because of it. But this one, oh boy, this one redeemed it!

i highly enjoyed this novel, like all of Cassie's books. The plot was interesting and the pace was pretty good. Sebastian is a wicked villian and i loved all of his scenes. We get to see a few more sides of him, not just his evil one, and i felt kinda sorry for him at times. Jace was hot as ever, but he wasnt as funny as he was in the rest of the series, so i missed that side of him. Brother Zachariah was one of my fav characters and this book provides a lot of clues about his identity.

Cassie is really torturing us...I mean the ending! If I could just travel into the future I would do it.gah! and I'm really getting suspicious about Brother Zachariah, I mean he knows about Herondales and that gave me another theory about TID. and yeah the love scenes of Jordan and Maia?, well I really hoped that Izzy and Simon would do it in COHF..just sayin ;) ...so I'm really scared for my baby (Jace) what's happening to him again? Always with that kind of ending. Never fails.

Man, this book was heated! (In a lot more ways than one.) It does kind of suck that (view spoiler), but what are ya gonna do about it. I was happy to get a better look into who Sebastian is. Jace and Clary. Those two. And then Simon and Isabelle (still don't know where they stand), and Maia and Jordan (these two <3).

The constant Infernal Devices references made me grin and gave ...more
