This was a very average read for me, neither great nor awful. I think the both the characters and story line had more promise than what was delivered. I never really felt the supposed connection between the two characters and felt the later actions of the third member of the love triangle seemed nonsensical and counter-productive to his goals. This book really kind of freaked me out at the end. But I will say the author did a good job of making sure I would buy the next book in the series when it comes out in September 2010. I just have to know what is going to happen next. All in all this book had some pretty crazy twists and turns. I'm sure the next book will be even better now that we have the characters developed. Torment (Fallen #2) will be added to my TBR pile!

I liked this book. It didn't remind me of Twilight at all. I don't get all the negativity that this book received. I hope my library has the rest of the series.

this book is very fascinating to read keeps you wanting to read more. dangerously exciting and darkly romantic I rank this book as a must read!!!
