SPOILERS ABOUND

Ok.... I went into this book thinking it was going to be rife with heartache and pointless miscommunication between Alexia and Conall.... Yea... sooooo glad that wasn't the case!

This installment was HILARIOUS. I mean really.
Killer ladybugs.
Conall depleting Lyall's formaldehyde supply to keep himself inebriated and singing opera.
Lyall, a werewolf, studying sheep for anything. XD
A super secret agent Floote, kick ass at every turn.
An inappropriately flirty Madame Lefoux.

At last the third from the Parasol Protectorate! Although not quite as enjoyable as the first two in the series still a fun read. I positively love the characters from the series and feel as though they are a part of my world and each time I finish one of these books I feel a little sad that it will be a while before I see them again.

After the last book's cliff hanger it was a relief to finally get some of the whats and whos figured out. Alexia finds herself travelling to Italy to see if she ca ...more
