THAT ENDING!!!! ACH!!!!
SPOILERS AHEAD
I felt like the ending was the best twist in the whole book... but it was horrible at the same time. I was all gaping and bug eyed, sputtering nonsensical words of shock and upset.
This book wasn't as good as the first was, for me. I feel like there wasn't enough humor, and some of the humor tried too hard.
(Lord Akeldama, as much as I love you and your pet names. Tunstall's ridiculous love triangle ...more

What a fabulous book! The mystery here was fantastic... although I had an idea of who the spy was Ms. Carriger still had me guessing at who it could be. The possibilities were endless.

I found the story's mystery entertaining and enjoyed getting to know more of Connall's past and meeting his former pack. I like that she was able to weave Lord Akeldama into the story, even though the bulk of it takes place outside of London.

Is anyone else heartbroken after reading this book? I loved the story and the writing, just like the last book it was brilliant, but ever since I finished reading this book yesterday afternoon I have been surrounded by a cloud of gloom. I can't wait for the next book, hopefully, she will find some vindication and all some peace and happiness. Also, I love Madame Lefoux, so hopefully she will have a BIG part in the next book.
