Terry Goodkind does a great job of flawlessly introducing you to the back story of a couple of the characters in his regular series.... I wish it hadn't ended.

Good prequel. Answered some questions. Gave some back story. Probably okay to read after the first book. Now I just have to wait for the Omen Machine to come out in a Kindle Version.
