Great book again, though I have to say, out of the one I've read so far, this is my least favorite. The real action didn't come until the very end and I felt like all the rest was just background knowledge. That made it a slower read for me. When it did get to the end though, it was GREAT. A nice twist I have to say, and some great character development with Kahlan. A little disappointed with the way Richard reacted in the very, very, end. I liked the book, but was a little disappointed in that Richard and Kahlan didn't play a bigger part in the story. I also didn't care for how everything fit together real nice in the last 30 to 40 pages. Out of the first 5 books, this is my least favorite.

Goodkind always starts the book by reintroducing characters and giving a brief synopsis of whats currently happening with each character as they come back into the storyline. This book becomes a little different in the fact that suddenly there is a jump to this new place (I dont believe is mentioned previously) with new characters such as Fetch and Dalton. It is dragging on right now and it has become a slow read but I know it will pick up here soon
