What Members Thought
Dynamic! I love the character arc of Richard in this book. This the eighth book in the series but the way that TG wrote his series the primary characters never stop changing, learning, growing and loving one another. Also, even though I know there are more books I was convinced that Richard was going to die at least ten times. This is a testament to TG's ability as a writer and his uncanny knack for building tension.

Although I've read and heard a lot of people say these last few books were awful. I actually think they got a lot better. It doesnt seem so over the top in descriptions of rape and terror and all the characters are becoming more well rounded. I found this book to be pretty enjoyable and it rounded out to a good ending. Looking forward to starting chainfire trilogy and seeing where this all goes.
