Re-read in 2020 ready for the final book. Still a 4.5 star book.
Most of the book was a 4.5 rating but there was a part in the middle that was not interesting (compared to the rest of the book). I really enjoyed the history and magic of the world.

Absolutely adored this book! It's a true literary adventure, the world building is fantastic, the magical beings are phenomenally described. Thankfully I have book two ready to dive into!
