What Members Thought
I picked up this book for our radio show, "From the Back of the Stacks." The February 2010 episode is "Judging a Book by It's Cover." I was struck by the bold red of the cover, the cotton plant in front, and the tiny cabin and people in the background. The Barbara Kingsolver quote also convinced me to bring this one home, and I was glad I did. Mudbound is set in the deep south just after World War II.
