Salman Rushdie really surprised me on this one. I read this book under the recommendation of many of my friends and absolutely loved it. It is the story of Haroun, son of Rashid the story teller, or the Shah of Blah. He always asks his father where his stories come from, and his father tells him that he drinks the water from a spring, from the sea of stories.
