People say that a picture can project a lot of detail and showcase reality, in this book Leo Tolstoy had brought in a moving picture thru his articulate, appropriate and adequate content without exageration.

Part 8 (final part with 19 chapters) that comes after the culmination of Anna's story is highly unsatisfying. The ending with Levin especially feels like a huge cop out. Why. Why. Why.
