What Members Thought

This beautifully written novel is a celebration of morality, goodness, manners and courtesy. I yearn for a time when language and manners were an art form. In modern times, the novel has been reduced to vulgarity which is merely a reflection of our society.
I was quite frankly transported in mind and spirit to a sacred place.

Nice, ultimately fulfilling story. Liked it more than Pride and Prejudice. Enjoyed the mentions of the importance of English garden design in this time period. It's pleasant to gain more understanding of it in context.
