I wonder if one could find a book like this about people who dealt with the Trail of Tears? By that I mean the people whose feet bleed as the trudged for so many miles as they were torn away from their homeland. This is a book written for the people who would never have a voice in most societies. These stories depict the lives of the downtrodden by letting them speak for themselves. I'm sure this book is one of several reasons why Liao Yiwu continues to be banned...
