I'm broken into a million pieces. I've completely torn apart. Something in this book has hooked deep into my soul and I can no longer say that I'm the same person I was before this reading. Mostly, I didn't enjoy reading this book. Something about the cuteness and self-consciousness of the writing didn't agree with me. But yes, I agree, we should seize the small joys in life, (and there were a few to be had by reading this book). Also, being transported to Kerala, India, and taught its history was worthwhile.
