The author manages to put across the simple importance of the lesson without getting bogged down in the almost expected emotional reactive mess that most debates that revolve around perceived "intelligence" descend into. In regular terms, there's no defensive stupidity about who's right versus who's inobservant or dumb enough to be wrong.
