This is a new release for this author. An Air Force cadet officer has only twelve days to live. Arriving at the Reserve Officer Training Corps summer camp on Cape Cod for five weeks of intensive military training, his dreams are shattered by a killer bent on revenge. Less than two weeks into the Air Force encampment, a maniacal killer sneaks silently into the Honor’s Squadron barracks late at night. Greeted by the five a.m. reveille, the waking cadets discover one of their own lying lifeless in his bunk. Summer Warriors traces the cadets of Honors Squadron as they maneuver in the shadows to expose the identity of the monster that killed their friend. Benny Cunningham, an honor student from Ohio University, and the prime cadet for selection as number one in camp is joined by John ‘the Hog’ Hogeland, James ‘Righteous’ Wright, and several tenacious honor cadets vowing to track down the evasive killer. The cadets’ pledge to bring the murderer to justice is continually hijacked by a cadre of dedicated Drill Instructors, and a strong-willed military police woman. Innocent cadets are killed, maimed, or violently attacked as the Honors squadron detail moves closer and closer to the truth.
