I don’t even know where to begin.
Melinda’s story is so profoundly jarring and deeply moving and possibly one of the best told stories I have ever read.
The fact that this novel is told in first person point of view and is so incredibly accurate and raw, there was no doubt in my mind that Melinda was— is real.

I own this book. I really don't know why. Okay fine, I do know why - because I bought it - but I don't know why I bought it to begin with. I honestly think I might have confused the cover with "Fever," or maybe I was cajoled into purchasing it by the deceptively benign back cover that promised me the story would be immaculate.
