I've been wanting to re-read this series and actually re-read this book as an audio book. I didn't have any experience with an audio book and thought it would be easier to focus with this specific series since it is one of my faves. It was surprisingly an enjoyable experience because
A. Listening to an audio book actually helped play out the story in my head better

I am not really a fan of YA lit. The first time I started reading this book, I read a chapter and a half and decided that it wasn't worth my precious slacking off time during finals week. This time, I invested in an audiobook, with different results. Alright, it wasn't the best writing ever. In fact, I hate writers who overuse metaphors and use big words to reaffirm that they are good at writing intelligently. But, I must admit, Ms. Clare is a better storyteller than Ms. Meyer, and deserves cred

Just because I'm putting them in my library out of order doesn't mean I read them out of order! I like how Jace's whole life revolves around a humongous religious theme, and yet he's athiest.
