I have yet to go wrong with Christopher Moore. Since I spend more time at used book stores than new ones, I was super excited to come across this beauty at a store beside the MVA (a genius move on the owner's part!), hidden on a top shelf by the checkout. Written in 1997, this story wouldn't fly now, thanks to post-911 regulations and paranoia, but reality has never seemed to stop Moore before.

Fun stuff. High adventure. A real page-turner. Sex, danger, cannibals, tropical locales, sly humor and deft treatment of the art of PR manipulation, and the nature of religion.
