I don't know Ancient Greek, so can't comment on its fidelity, but this version read really well in English - for the most part. There were some weird choices that didn't feel quite right somehow.
Like in book 22 "playtime is over" Odysseus says before killing all the suitors. It does make sense, a game has just been played, but it felt a little "90s cool" or like something in a comic movie.
