I am from Kansas, and not a fan of the movie the Wizard of Oz. I get tired of being compared to Dorothy and hearing, "Toto, I don't think we are in Kansas any more."
I have heard the musical Wicked it fantastic and enjoy the women that brought it to Broadway, so I thought I would read the book. The first section I wondered what did I get myself into to? This books sucks! I am so glad that I kept on reading. Once Elphaba gets to college the book is very enjoyable.

I didn't finish it... The content was too inappropriate. I could put it down... lots of times. It isn't like the musical, which I love.
