I have not seen the movie so I cannot vouch for it. The story itself is very engaging and beguiling. I love and hate Bella at the same time. She seems like a cross between a horror movie bimbo you want to see die and a tragic heartache that grabs your attention and will not let go. Jacob is a nice guy for a werewolf.. absolutely hilarious. Definitely a must-read.. an opinion from an old wisenheimer..

Amazing. I read this book before i read the others (twilight, eclipse, breaking dawn). I picked it up because ITS COVER. Still an amazing book.
Edward is a right prick though. Jacob is abit like perfect for Bella. Bella is abit...emotional though. It gets annoying sometimes but still a great book.

People kept telling me that New Moon wasn't very good, but I really enjoyed it. I loved Jacob and wish Bella would choose him over Edward. I love how Myer makes both of these characters so... unrealistically perfect! I guess that what makes us want to keep reading about them though. This book lacks the big, suspenseful event that Twilight has, but I still couldn't put it down! It's a must-read!
