This book hit home for me! It made me so sad, but also made me understand what my grandma has been going through. There are moments my Grandma seems ok and then other times she is just no where near reality. I am recommending my family read this book so they will too maybe beable to understand just how she feels.

So good, so tragic! This book is very emotionally charged and shows the ugly side of this disease. I love how the book is in the perspective of the person coping with the disease and not just the family living with a person that has it. It’s heartbreaking to read about this person who is of above average intelligence slowly slip...and the fact that before she succumbs, how aware she is of everything. I recommend this book to everyone!

recommended to me by a nurse friend after my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Some might find it a downer, but there were items that I found uplifting, enlightening and all very moving. Worth the read whether you know someone with Alzheimer's or not. Heart-wrenching.
