A little more military strategy and a little less character depth than I'm used to from the other Ender & Shadow books I've read. So not my favorite, but still great. It's hard to review something in the middle of a series -- either you're going to read it because you're already hooked, or you should start at the beginning (at least Ender's Game and then Ender's Shadow).
