Orson Scott Card takes you into the world of super intelligent kids and makes you feel just as intelligent while doing it. His characters are really well formed. You see them develop and feel like they are someone you know whether you like them or not. Intriguing plot even though I already knew the ending.

It is very interesting to read the same story from Bean's perspective and to understand how much he contributed to Ender's victory. It got a little annoying with Bean's constant explanation of his thought process, but it was still a fun read. I am totally into these Ender books now!

This was my second visit to the book, this time through Audible. Listening rather than reading repainted some parts in different colors. The team of readers, and the echos to the Ender's Game movie made this go through even more interesting. Card's study of children in plight is insightful and disturbing.

I love most of Orson Scott Card's books, and this is one of my favorites. Bean's mind is so complex, even more so than Ender's, and the search for his parents really makes this book interesting.
