I just re-read this book after having gone to see the new film. After the movie, I felt the need to read it again just to connect with the real characters, as I had done so many times before.
As always, it was amazing. Is it perfect? No, but it is pretty damn close. Despite my having read this book more times than I can accurately recount, certain scenes still bring tears. This book holds the position of "My Favorite". I first read it when I was 9 or 10, and was blown away. I have since read it so many times that I don't even need to finish the sentences, I know word-for-word exactly what they will say.

Definitely the best book I've ever read. There is so much meaning and purpose in this book, so much reading between the lines. The relationships and the dialogue and everything is just so perfect. It couldn't have been any better, in my opinion.
