This book holds the position of "My Favorite". I first read it when I was 9 or 10, and was blown away. I have since read it so many times that I don't even need to finish the sentences, I know word-for-word exactly what they will say.

This book is one of the first books I read voluntarily and willingly. It met all my standards for what I now consider to be a good book. I love how the author depicts Ender enduring very hard struggles and coming through them physically but not emotionally. It gives a sense of urgency and frustration throughout the entirety of the book.
