What Members Thought

From a guy’s perspective, I found the first half of this book rather boring. Reading about four young sisters during the Civil War, sewing, singing, acting, playing and repenting caused me to have a snooze fest. There were so many moments that I sat this book aside and started something else to change it up a bit. This is a great piece of work. It's very relatable if you've ever experienced being poor, are a Christian, and/or are female. My husband also enjoys the story. One of my favorites! I'm excited to one day share it with our daughter, and I hope to be like Mrs. March. :)
