What Members Thought
To date, this is probably the best novel that I've read.
It's certainly nestled alongside 'The God of Small Things' and 'Love in the Time of Cholera'and 'Dog Years' etc...
What Tolstoy does really well is to capture those secret trains of thought that we all know but would find difficult to grasp and capture with words; the emotive illogical reasonings of a man with an axe to grind or the self decieving blind jealousy of a lover to name but two, are incredibly well captured.
