I started listening in March 2018 to the two volume audio book of the Maude translations, published by Naxos and narrated by Neville Jason. It is an amazing book, but not a suspenseful page turner. I listened to it off and on the rest of the year, finishing it the day after Christmas.
I am most impressed with Tolstoy's breadth of scope and the seemingly uncanny ease with which he accurately conveys a wide variety of experience.

It took me 3 months to read, but I'm done! It was well worth it. I was a little confused with all of the different character names but other than that it was a great book.
