Sappy? Yes! Melodramatic? Absolutely! Predicatable? Sure, but the better for it. Sometimes it takes a sweet, little book to remind us what is special and dear about the Holiday season. I enjoyed this book, it made me cry and made me appreciate what I have to be thankful for. I'd like to be remembered as a "Christmas Carol!"

So sweet and a beautiful reminder of what it means to really give from the heart. We should all take a lesson from frail, yet wise Carol, as she lives out the meaning of Christmas.
A pleasant morality tale for girls - of the type that I used to lap up when I was about 8-12.
A delightful short Christmas Story ... has a sad, but not unsuspected ending.
I love this story, it made you laugh and cry in such a short time! This is a book I will recommend to people for years to come. maybe even read every year at Christmas just to remind myself the true meaning of giving. What a wonderful story.
