I thought I had read this before, but if I did it was long enough ago that it seemed like reading a brand new book. So, I really loved Persuasion. To my surprise, I pretty much loved it the moment I started reading it. I honestly felt like I just held my breath for an entire book. Why am I so surprised? Well, this is only my second "Austen Adventure", and my first was Pride and Prejudice. Now, I freaking love P&P, but I had to get through all the boring fluff before I could love it, and that took me a while.
