I love Dickens. This has got to be one of the most devastatingly elegant endings in all of literature. There's little to be said that hasn't been stated repeatedly by others with far more wisdom than myself, so I'll leave it at that.
Since I've primarily listened to his work on audio (they're meant to be read aloud after all), Simon Vance will forever be the voice of Dickens for me. And such a lovely voice. I highly recommend the experience. ...more

3.5 Stars - It started off kinda slow but after about 150 pages it started to get really interesting. The ending was great and, overall, I really enjoyed the story.
