I've had this one on the pile for a while, but never got around to it. Its description never snagged my interest too much. In a way, I'm glad it took me so long, because on any other day it might not have touched me the way it did today, after losing a loved one. This book brought me comfort and tears both. It is a sad, touching, wonderfully fanciful fable that everyone should read. Just dont take it too literally, and look for all the allegory and metaphor you can squeeze out of it. The more yo

I first read this book when I was 8 or 9 because it was a requirement in class. It didn't really impact me that much until I read it again when I was in High School. This is one of my favorite classics filled with lessons in life's journey.
