Man I enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. These brothers are a mess but they have big hearts and that comes from Ann Barnes. What's done in the dark always comes to the light and that's a lesson Krista and Denari are about to learn. Krista just made it easy for Jaako to walk away which is a good thing because they don't love each other and his heart is with someone else. Those Barnes Brothers!
I loved reading this book. Each brother had his own demons that he needed to battle. The story kept my attention the entire time. I kept wanting to see what was going to happen next. Most of the women in this book, Jenacia, Zemia, and Yameka, were strong enough to help the brothers fight their internal battles. I don't know wha to say about Denari. I was hoping that he would get it together at some point, but I guess not. I can't wait for part 2! ...more
