Yes this book was good. I loved Leslie she had it hard. Mrs. Melissa surprise me of the lengths she took to keep Maurice and Leslie apart. I was glad that Leslie change and she stood up to Dhani, Jadiel, Dysis, Azzura her old friends. Joi was to old to act like that. Myla and Timothy was a cute couple. A great Standalone Book Nikqua. I would like to read about Timothy and Myla hopefully

Great story!!!!!

Although Leslie was dealt with a bad hand and for a while she allowed that to dictate her life, I was truly happy with the outcome. For Marcus it was bitter sweet he couldn’t have both his mother and girlfriend together it was either or. And now that’s he’s happy she’s not around because of the choices she made to participate in his happiness...

Great Standalone.. I can't believe that Melissa had set up Leslie like that. And to know where her real parent's was all along. I know her son hated turning her in but he did what was best. Maurice love Leslie I'm glad they got to start over. She got to meet her parents and she made a real friend. Great book. ...more

A Hood Girl turned Good...No Great Girl!!

What a different read. Straight up Love and Redemption story. Leslie and Maurice weathered the storm and outside and most surprisingly family. The twist was surprise to say the least!! Marcie let me down for a minute...but ended doing the right thing though it couldn’t have been easy.
