This is quite a bizarre tale. At times I was put off, but I had to continue to read... Overall, the story seemed to highlight family-love, control, loneliness, etc.

I think it could have been split up a little differently. I was getting confused at first that it went from Oly being an adult to Oly being a kid. It wasn't until the very end that I understood why it would change timeframes like that.

The book is unforgettable-good or bad I'm not sure. But, I know that I'll never view a carnival the ...more
