My favorite Jane Austen of all time. I have read it on seven different occasions and even though I know how it's going to turn out each time, I never tire of the story. I'm always drawn back to it when I'm yearning for romance. I love the language and the way everything was so properly done (or meant to be properly done)during this age in history. Elizabeth Bennet is at the top of my list of endearing literary characters because of her quick, mental acuity and her personable ways. And let's not ...more
