I received a review copy of this book.
While this book does qualify as LitRPG (barely, pun intended), it isn't your typical LitRPG type story. If you're looking for the typical stats, progression, and levels, this isn't the story you want to read.
On the other hand, if you want a story that's well told, delves into mysteries that will persist for multiple books, and ends with a promise for a second just as interesting book, then this book is one you should immediately add to your to read shelf.
