Unique take on the litrpg genre
Fun and different take on the litrpg genre. Reads like a stand-alone, though I'm sure there are ways to add more. Not a lot of direct progression or stats like some, and outside of a few unique skills, the stats are more descriptive than prescriptive if you will.

Easily deserves five stars
Royal Bodyguard kept me up until three a.m., and I could not put the book down until I finished. Commoner receives a chance for adventure and a crazy-good skill or job? Yes, a common enough theme to begin adventures, but the royal bodyguard might just have adventures pushed on him rather unexpectedly. Great book.

Royal Bodyguard is a story about a city guard who becomes a bodyguard for an eleven year old princess, and finds out that age has no bearing on intelligence. This makes the book a bit slow in the beginning, but it picks up pretty well by the end, and we find out that things aren't all well in the kingdom. (surprise). Besides the slow start, the story is fairly decent, so if you're wondering if you should add it to your reading shelf or not, go ahead, it won't hurt.

Royal Bodyguard
I like stories of working class ppl. Especially with the Litrpg element. The Main character was likable and his loyalty was commendable. I look forward to reading more of his story going forward.
