This book was just as good as the first. I loved the increases in the skill system for starters and the comments from the system and certain overseers are hilarious. It was also interesting seeing Shy heading in a slightly different direction. While I felt the story lacked a little in that Shy is someone who sees himself as a merchant, a salesman first, who just happens to have crafting to provide products for sale, he spent more time acting like a rough and tumble mobster.
