Just finished a Re-read ready for the release of the movie. :) I loved the trip down memory lane that came about because of the treasure hunt in the OASIS. It's not hard to get a visual while reading this book, all the people locked away from the real world while they continue there lives on a computer. Tons of nostalgia, good book with a good plot. The characters are well developed and it pulls on your heartstrings. A lot of people seem to think the only reason this book is good is the nostalgic feel, I personally felt the story had a bit more going for it than that but to each their own.
What an adventure! This book made me reminisce on some animes in the 90s. Epic and brought me knowledge of some movies to watch which didn't occur around my time. I love how it ended openly since I really thought it ended well for everyone.

Absolutely loved this book. I highly recommend it to people who love video games and are in their late 30's to 40's - all of the 80's references will bring a smile to your face :)
